Services

Exploration & Mine Drilling.

GTS Drilling specializes in Reverse Circulation, Diamond Core, Deep Directional Navi Drilling, Air-Core, Grade Control, Geo-Tech and Water Borehole drilling. The Company operates a fleet of multi-purpose rigs which have the ability to switch between RC and DC methods mid-way through the hole.

Reverse Circulation
01To 500m depth

Reverse Circulation

GTS Drilling specializes in all aspects of Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling including Remote Exploration, Resource Definition, Pre-collars for DD tails, in-pit Grade Control, and Deep Hole Target Sensitive RC to depths of 500m.

Diamond Drilling
02PQ · HQ · NQ coring

Diamond Drilling

GTS Drilling specializes in all aspects of Diamond Drilling (DD) including PQ, HQ and NQ coring including triple tube for maximum core recovery in Remote Exploration, Resource Definition, Environmental, Geo-Tech, Horizontal and Deep Directional applications to depths of 2,000m.

Air-Core Drilling
03First pass technique

Air-Core Drilling

At GTS Drilling, we approach Air-Core Drilling to the same high international standards as our other services. Air-core is a superior first-pass drilling technique because sample contamination is minimised through the dual-tube system.

Deep Directional Navi Drilling
04To 2,000m depth

Deep Directional Navi Drilling

Deep Directional Navi Drilling controls deviation, reaches targets beneath inaccessible areas, changes hole direction and creates multiple target intersections from a mother hole. GTS uses specialist software to plan and navigate programmes to depths of 2,000m.

RC Grade Control Drilling
05In-pit · Ø 125–140mm

RC Grade Control Drilling

Open-cut mines use in-pit grade-control drilling to determine ore grades and inform mine planning and blasting. RC grade control is an efficient and accurate way to distinguish waste rock from ore deposits.

Water Borehole Drilling
06Production & monitoring bores

Water Borehole Drilling

GTS Drilling provides water-bore solutions including drilling and construction of production and monitoring bores, plus installation and grouting of geotechnical instruments for water and ground monitoring.
