Reverse Circulation
GTS Drilling specializes in all aspects of Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling including Remote Exploration, Resource Definition, Pre-collars for DD tails, in-pit Grade Control, and Deep Hole Target Sensitive RC to depths of 500m.
Diamond Drilling
GTS Drilling specializes in all aspects of Diamond Drilling (DD) including PQ, HQ and NQ coring including triple tube (for maximum core recovery) in all applications including Remote Exploration, Resource Definition, Environmental, Geo-Tech including packer testing and VWP installations, Horizontal Drilling, and Deep Directional Multi-intersectional using Wedging and Navi Drilling to depths of 2,000m.
Air-Core Drilling
At GTS Drilling, we approach Air-core Drilling (AC) in the same way as our other works offerings, to the highest international standards. Air core drilling is a superior first pass drilling technique as, opposed to RAB, the sample contamination is minimised through the dual tube system. We understand the importance of sample quality, even with first pass drilling on a potential project.
Deep Directional Navi Drilling

RC Grade Control Drilling
Grade Control, RC Open cut mines use drilling (in-pit grade control) to determine ore grades and to provide information for mine planning and blasting. RC/GC is typically drilled with holes between 125 and 140 millimetres deep, which is 48 meters. Given that dilution can vary widely, this knowledge is essential to reducing waste rock (dilution) in concentrator feed. The most efficient and accurate method for drawing lines between waste rock and ore deposits is RC grade control.
