GTS Drilling Supports Ghana’s Women’s National Tennis Team

As part of our commitment to creating meaningful and lasting social impact, GTS Drilling is proud to have supported the Ghana Tennis Federation in June 2026 with a financial donation towards the participation of Ghana’s Women’s National Tennis Team in the Billie Jean King Cup Africa Zone III tournament held in Gaborone, Botswana.

The Federation approached GTS Drilling following our previous engagement on initiatives aimed at strengthening tennis development in Ghana and expanding opportunities for the next generation of players. Their appeal highlighted the need for financial support to enable the national women’s team to represent Ghana at one of the continent’s premier international tennis competitions.

Recognising the importance of investing in youth development, gender inclusion and national representation, GTS Drilling responded to the call by providing financial assistance to help the team fulfil its international commitment.

We believe that sport has the power to inspire, unite communities and create opportunities that extend well beyond the court. Supporting athletes who demonstrate dedication, discipline and excellence aligns with our broader Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments to invest in people and contribute positively to the communities in which we operate.

Our support for the Ghana Women’s National Tennis Team reflects our belief that empowering young people and promoting women’s participation in sport contributes to stronger, more inclusive societies. By helping remove barriers to international competition, we hope to play a role in enabling talented athletes to achieve their full potential while proudly representing Ghana on the global stage.
